Gardaí Seek To Return Jewellery To Owners

Gardaí are seeking to return jewellery to its rightful owners.

Over 1,000 items of jewellery were recovered as a result of a search operation carried out on Sunday 22 February 2015.

In a statement, Garda said: "We are anxious to reunite this property with its rightful owners. Some of it already identified by our trawl through our own stolen property Pulse records.

"Some items are very valuable but also the less valuable may be of immense sentimental value. Please view the property on the Garda Facebook page and the Garda website."

Photographs of jewellery recovered as part of Operation Fiacla has been made available by garda in an effort to return the items to their owners. The pieces were recovered yesterday after gardaí stopped and searched a car in Rathcoole, Co Dublin. Four men were arrested in connection with the jewellery find.
