Family Bring Home Body Of Karen Buckley
The body of Karen Buckley, a student from Cork found murdered in Glasgow, has been returned to Cork.
Ms Buckley's body was brought home by her parents on a special Aer Lingus/Stobart Air flight from Glasgow today.
Her funeral is to be held in the north Cork village of Mourneabbey on Tuesday.
Ms Buckley was found at a farm on the outskirts of Glasgow after going missing on a night out with friends earlier this month.
A 21-year-old man has been charged with her murder.

Glasgow Body Find Confirmed As Missing Cork Student
Police in Scotland have confirmed that a body discovered on a farm north of Glasgow is that of missing Irish student Karen Buckley. Human remains were found at the isolated farm on Wednesday by officers searching for the 24-year-old, who had gone missing in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

A man found guilty of murdering student Karen Buckley has been jailed for life. Ms Buckley, 24, who was originally from Cork, went missing in Glasgow after a night out with friends. Her body was found on a farm four days later. Alexander Pacteau, 21, killed the student shortly after meeting her outside a nightclub in April of this year.

Irish Water has announced an investment of €3.5 million to upgrade the water distribution network of mid Kerry. In partnership with Kerry County Council, the work includes the replacement of almost 20km of water mains that have been subject to frequent bursts.
