Three People Attacked In Swords
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a group of youths assaulted a robbed three people in Swords on Saturday.
It is understood that two woman and a man were walking in Town Park at about 20:45 when a group of youths attacked them – injuring the man and one of the woman and taking a camera bag.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or may have been in Town Park between 18:00 and 20:45 to contact Swords Garda Station on 01 6664700, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Officers investigating the fatal stabbing that occurred at St Cronans Avenue, Swords arrested the male who is also in his early 20s, this morning in connection with the incident.

Two Arrested Over Aidan Myers Murder
Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Aidan Myers, gardaí have confirmed. Mr Myers, 37, was killed by a gang who had attempted to hijack the car in which he was a passenger in Faughart, Co. Louth on December 12, 2006. He died after being attacked by a machete.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Drugs Worth €900,000 Seized In Athy
A man has been arrested after €900,000 worth of drugs were seized by garda in Athy. The operation, on a growhouse in the area, is believed to have taken place in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The man is being questioned at Kildare Town Garda Station.
