Gardai Launch Manhunt After Prisoner Escapes From Court
Gardaí have launched a manhunt after a prisoner escaped from Cloverhill in Dublin.
The man escaped from Bray Circuit Court in Wicklow after his case was heard on Thursday morning.
According to RTE, the man ran off after his handcuffs were removed.
Gardaí are continuing to search for the prisoner and an investigation has been launched by the Irish Prison Service.

Both Iarnród Éireann and the Rail Accident Investigation Unit are investigating a collision between a train and a four-wheel-drive vehicle. The crash happened on a level crossing near Birdhill, Co Tipperary, with both the woman driving the car and eight rail passengers suffering just minor cuts and bruises.

Search After Prisoner Escapes From Transport Van
A search is underway for man who escaped from a prison escort van on Wednesday afternoon. 23-year-old Lee McDonnell, who is serving a 10-year sentence, was being transported to Portlaoise prison after attending a hospital appointment in Dublin. It is understood that the prison van stopped at about 14:00 in Inchicore to get food.

Prison Vehicle Overturns On M6 Injuring Three
A prisoner and two prison guards are being treated in hospital after the van they were travelling in overturned on the M6 in CO Galway. It is thought the Prison Service vehicle, a standard prisoner transfer vehicle, suffered a tyre blowout causing it to overturn between junctions 16 and 17.

A man on a scooter had a lucky escape last night when he collided with a bus in Dublin. The incident happened on Thursday 14 February. Pictures shared by Gardaí show the bike wedged under the double-decker. Officers warned road users of all vehicle types to take care on the roads.
