Gardaí Renew Appeal For Mother Of Abandoned Baby In Dublin
Gardaí have issued a renewed appeal after a newborn baby girl was discovered abandoned in Rathcoole, Dublin, on Friday.
The baby was found on the Steelstown Road at around 3.30pm, and is believed to have been born 24-36 hours before she was found.
A member of the public alerted gardaí and the baby was looked after by medical staff who attended the scene.
She is now in a stable condition in hospital.
An investigation is ongoing.

Body Of Baby Found In Bin
The body of a newborn baby has been found in a bin in Co Cork. The discovery was made at a property in the city on Thursday after the baby's mother presented herself to gardaí, it has been reported. The body was taken to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem will be carried out.

Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Gardaí have renewed an appeal for help in identifying the remains of a man found at a recycling plant in Dublin in July. The human remains were found on 31 July at Thornton's Recycling Plant on Killeen Road, Ballyfermot. Gardaí say that they believe it to be a European male, aged between 25 and 45 and approximately 5'8" to 6' tall.

A fresh review of the 'Baby John' case is to be announced today by Gardaí in Caherciveen, Co Kerry. 'Baby John' was found on White Strand beach on 14 April, 1984. The unknown baby was found to have been stabbed a number of times.

The baby girl's remains were discovered by a worker at the Greenstar facility in Fassaroe, Bray, Co Wicklow. Baby Alannah, as she was named by gardaí, will be buried at Redford Cemetery, in Greystones, according to a report by RTÉ.
