RSA Launches Public Consultation For Emergency Packs In All Vehicles
A public consultation has launched to seek views on the requirement of a breakdown safety back to be carried in all vehicles.
The consultation, launched by the Road Safety Authority (RSA), believes that there is a potential road safety benefit associated with the introduction of emergency packs in vehicles and is an action (105) in the Government's Road Safety Strategy 2013-2020.
Before making formal proposals to the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, the Road Safety Authority is seeking feedback from the public.
The closing date for submissions is Friday 12 June 2015.
