Two Arrested In Connection With Fatal Shooting Of Benjamin Whitehouse
Two people have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Benjamin (Benny) Whitehouse on 25 September last year.
A man, 34, and a woman, 28, were arrested in Dublin on Sunday night.
They are being detained in Balbriggan and Swords Garda Stations under the provisions of Section 50 – Criminal Justice Act 2007.
Mr Whitehouse, 36, was shot dead on Clonard Street after dropping his child off at school.

Teenager And Young Child Injured In Alleged Shooting In West Dublin
An investigation has been launched into an alleged shooting incident in West Dublin. According to reports, a teenager and a young child have been injured in an incident that gardaí have said is "ongoing" in the Parlickstown area of Blanchardstown. Two Held Over Attempted Shooting Attack Released
Two men arrested in connection with an attempted shooting attack in Dublin have been released without charge. The incident occurred at a car park next to the Islandbridge Court Apartments on 1 November. A Honda Civic rammed another car at the scene. Two occupants in the car then ran after the driver of the other vehicle and fired a number of shots.

A 35-year-old man has been killed in a shooting incident in Tallaght, Dublin, on Wednesday night. Gardaí in Tallaght received a call that a man had been seriously injured in a shooting incident at Kiltalown Road, at around 10.35pm.

Donegal Shots Man Questioned
A 38-year-old man is being held in custody following a shooting incident in Co. Donegal yesterday morning. Garda arrested the man in St Johnston shortly after 9.30am when the followed up reports that a shotgun had been fired. It is understood that a legally held shotgun was fired in the air outside a house.

Gardaí investigating a shooting incident outside a west Dublin school have made an arrest. A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested during the course of the search operation in Corduff. He has been detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, where he can be held for up to 72 hours.
