Apartment Complex Fire Investigated

An investigation has been launched into the cause of a fire at an apartment complex in Dublin city on Wednesday afternoon.

The apartments in Love Lane, Dublin 2, were evacuated when firefighters were called just after 14:30 yesterday.

Dublin Fire Brigade said that a number of fire units where sent to the scene and the fire was brought under control by 15:00.

There were no reports of any injuries.

An apartment complex in Dublin had to be evacuated in Dublin on Thursday morning after fire broke out in the building. The fire broke out in the apartment in the Castlegate Grove complex started around 5:30am this morning.

Man Charged In Connection With Gareth Hutch Murder
A man has been charged in connection with the murder of Gareth Hutch in Dublin last week. Mr Hutch, 35, was shot at around 10am by two gunmen as he got into his car in the Avondale House Apartment complex on Tuesday, 24 May. The 29-year-old suspect was charged on Tuesday evening and appeared before Criminal Courts of Justice today, 01 June.

Halloween Fire Safety Campaign Launched
Dublin Fire Brigade's Halloween Safety Campaign, 'Be Safe Been Seen' has been launched at Dublin Fire HQ by tArdmhéara Críona Ní Dhálaigh. The Fire Brigade will work with Dublin Bus, An Garda Siochana and the DSPCA in an effort to inform young people about the dangers of illegal bonfires and fireworks.
