'Suspicious Package' Handed In To Gay And Lesbian Equality Network in Dublin

A "suspicious package" has been delivered to the offices of the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network in Dublin city centre.

It is understood that an envelope containing "a powdery substance" was handed into the offices this morning. A note is said to have been attached to the package, but no details of what was written have been released.

Dublin Fire Brigade have said that they are treating the situation as a "serious incident".

There have been no reports of any injuries.
