Major Fire At Ballymun Shopping Centre
Ballymun Shopping Centre in north Dublin has been badly damaged in a fire overnight.
Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) were called to the scene at about 22:30 after a member of the public reported the fire.
Four units and 25 fiefighters attended the scene of the fire, which is believed to have broken out in an empty unit adjacent to the Towers Pub.
DFB said that the blaze was brought under control by about 23:30.
There were no reports of any injuries.

Dublin Fire Brigade Responds To 1,100 Calls On Halloween Night
Dublin Fire Brigade has revealed it responded to 1,100 emergency calls during Halloween night. On what is normally the service's busiest night of the year, there were also reports of attacks on fire crews while Dublin Bus was forced to withdraw its service in part of the city.

Mountjoy Prison Cell Fire
A fire broke out in a cell at Dublin's Mountjoy Prison on Thursday night, according to reports. It is understood that a prisoner had set fire to a cell. However, it is believed that prison staff and fire crews were able to contain the fire quickly. No-one was injured in the incident.

Six Fire Crews Tackle Second Howth Hill Gorse Fire
Six Dublin Fire Brigade units tackled a gorse fire on Howth Hill on Monday night. The emergency services were called to the scene at around 22:00 last night. It is the second gorse fire in the area in a week. The first fire is believed to have been started deliberately, but the cause of last nights blaze is unknown.
