Cyclist Killed Following Hit-And-Run In Dublin
A man has died following a hit-and-run in Dublin on Tuesday evening.
The cyclist, 62, was seriously injured after he was hit by a car on the Clontarf Road at around 6.30pm.
Emergency services attended the scene however he was later pronounced dead.
The car involved in the crash failed to remain at the scene.
A silver Volkswagon Golf was recovered by garda following the incident.
They are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Witness Appeal Following Death Of 64-Year-Old Man
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following the death of a 64-year-old man in Dysart, Portlaosie. The man died after being struck by a car at around 8.30pm on Monday on the N80 between Stradbally and Bloomfield. The man was treated at the scene by emergency services and removed to Portlaoise General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
