Appeal Issued For Missing 72-Year-Old Man
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of 72-year-old James Joyce.
Mr Joyce has been missing from his home in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford since 05 June.
It is unknown what James was last wearing but he is described as being 5' 7'' tall, of stocky build and with thin grey hair that is dyed brown. He is said to always wear denim jeans and cowboy boots and that he speaks with a soft Northern accent.
It is now believed that James has frequented the Donegal area in the past.
Anyone who has seen James or who can assist in locating him is asked to contact Enniscorthy Garda Station on 053-9242580, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Man In 60s Held Over Cannabis Discovery
A man in his 60s has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a cannabis grow house in Co Wexford. The man was found to be growing the plants in the upstairs of his house in Chapelwood, Kilmuckbridge when gardai responded to a call out at the address on Sunday at around 15:30.

'Suspicious' Death Of 81-Year-Old Investigated
A Gardaí investigation has been launched into the suspicious death of an 81-year-old man in Wexford. The man’s body was discovered outside a house at Ballyedmond, just off the main Wexford-Gorey road, at about 4.50pm yesterday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The teenager has been missing since 13 February, when she was last seen in the Gimount area of Enniscorthy, at approximately 17:00. She is described as approximately 5'4" tall, of slight build with long blond hair, blue eyes and fair complexion.

DCC Planners Reject Ormond Hotel Redevelopment Plans
Dublin City Council (DCC) have rejected plans to demolish the Ormond Hotel, made famous as a setting in James Joyce's Ulysses. A redevelopment plan for the site had been submitted by Monteco Holdings, which sought permission for a 170-bedroom six-storey hotel and bar.

A cyclist and a pedestrian have been killed after being hit by cars in Counties Louth and Wexford. A man in his 50s died while cycling when he was hit by a 4x4 at Annaghvacky, Hackballscross, Dundalk, at 4.20pm yesterday. A Garda spokesperson said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
