HSA And Gardaí To Investigate Workplace Death
Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have launched separate investigations into the death of man in a workplace accident in Clóna Dairies in Clonakilty, west Cork.
According to reports, a man, aged in his 20s, was crushed by an articulated lorry in the yard of the dairy.
It is understood that emergency services were called but a local doctor had pronounced the man dead before they arrived.
A post-mortem examination is to be carried out at Cork University Hospital.

A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Death Toll Fear From New 'Dr Death' Ecstasy
Following the deaths of two young graduates, Gardaí are warning that a lethal new 'Doctor Death' ecstasy mix could cause more deaths. A joint Gardaí and HSE alert was issued after it became clear that a consignment of the powdered substance was for sale on the streets of Cork.

Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.
