Man Jailed For Nine Years For Killing Irishman In Australia
A man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for murdering Irishman Thomas Keaney in Australia.
Thomas, 23, died after a one punch attack in 2013. He suffered a serious brain injury after falling and hitting his head on the pavement.
Abbas Yahya Al Jrood was jailed in Australia.
Mr Keaney died ten days after the fatal lunch in Perth.

Taxi Driver Charged After Death Of Irishman
A taxi driver in connection with a fatal incident in Perth has been charged after an Irishman was killed. Ryan Doyle, 25, from Leitrim, was found lying on a road in the suburb of Belmont in the early hours of yesterday morning. Mr Doyle died from his injuries in hospital.

Gardaí have been involved in an international operation to break up a criminal network involved in skimming ATM cards. A total of 15 were arrested in three countries on Wednesday with some of the offences believed to have been committed in Ireland.

Two men have been arrested after an Irishman was seriously assaulted in Australia in the early hours of Saturday morning. Jason Cierans was punched in the head outside a nightclub in Sydney sat approximately 1am. Mr Cierans, 29, originally from Cork, suffered serious head injuries during the attack outside a Bondi Junction club.

Missing Irishman Found Alive In Australia
A Co Clare man missing in Australia since last Saturday has been found, Australian Police have reported. 33-year-old Donal O'Sullivan had been last seen leaving the Tea Gardens Hotel in Bondi Junction at about 10:30am on Saturday morning.

Irishman Dies In Australia
An Irishman from County Kildare has died in Australia after sustaining head injuries at the weekend. Eoin Murray, 30, from Leixlip, was found injured on a street at approximately 6am on Saturday. He was taken to hospital where he remained in a critical condition. Victoria Police confirmed he died in hospital this morning.
