Racist Attack In Dublin Condemned

A Labour TD has condemned the recent racist attack in Clondalkin, Dublin.

Mr Robert Dowds said he was "disgusted" that a hate crime had been inflicted on a woman and her children.

Mr Dowds said: "As a resident of Clondalkin, I know that our community is absolutely disgusted by what has happened and wish to support the victim and her family through this difficult time.

"I attended a street meeting and was incredibly impressed with the community's solidarity with the victim. The residents who came out to show their support for the victim are the decent, compassionate, and genuine face of our community.

"I hope that the family can recover from what is clearly a traumatising experience."
