Three Arrested In Animal Cruelty Investigation
Three people have been arrested as part of an investigation into animal cruelty and neglect at a farm in Co Carlow.
Garda launched an investigation in April this year, removing 351 dogs and 11 horses from a farm during an 11 day joint operation involving An Garda Síochána, Carlow County Council and the ISPCA.
The two women and man, aged in their 40s, have now been released.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Five Arrested Over Donegal Arson Attacks
Gardaí investigating a series of fires in the Buncrana area have arrested five males. Officers have been investigating eleven fires in the area since early July. They said that the attacks were random, with some occurring in isolated rural areas, and the properties targeted included unoccupied buildings, farm sheds, vehicles and a health centre.

Two-Year-Old Killed In 'Tragic Accident' In Co Galway
Gardaí in Co Galway have reported the death of a two-year-old boy in Ornamore on Monday night. It is understood that the boy was hit by a car in the driveway of his home at Derrydonnell at about 19:15. Garda say that the car was being driven by one of the child's parents. The child died a short time after arriving at University Hospital Galway.

Four Girls In Hospital After Aerosol Explosion
Garda are investigating the circumstances surrounding four girls ending up in hospital after an aerosol exploded in a house in Drogheda on Sunday. The girls are being treated in hospital, two in Crumlin's children's hospital and two in Tallaght, following the incident. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Garda Ombudsman Begins Investigation Following Man's Death
The Garda Ombudsman Commission is investigating the death of a man in Drogheda. The man, who was anted by gardai, is believed to have taken his own life. Neighbours in the North Quay area said they heard several bangs between 5am and 7am this morning. A post mortem is due to be carried out today.

HSA And Garda Launch Investigation Into Farm Death
Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have launched separate investigations into the death of a man on a farm in Co Kilkenny. According to garda a man, aged in his 60s, died after a tractor rolled back on him on a farm near Bennettsbridge.
