Witnesses Sought Over Serious Road Accident, Co Galway
Gardaí in Ballinsloe, Co Galway, have appealed for witnesses to a serious road accident on Friday, 07 August.
The collision occurred at approximately 21:00 on the Ballinasloe to Athlone Road at Kilgarve, Creagh, Balliansloe.
Two cars collided and the male driver, aged 61, of one of the cars was seriously injured and taken to Portiuncla Hospital in Ballinasloe. The 21-year-old male driver of the second car was uninjured in the collision.
Witnesses to the accident are asked to contact Ballinasloe Garda station on 090 9631890, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Moyne Road Accident
Garda have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident at Moyneard, Moyne, Co Tipperary on Tuesday 12 January. A 39-year-old female pedestrian died after being struck by a van on the Moynead Cross to Shanballyduff Cross Road at about 16:10. It is understood the driver of the van, a 55-year-old man, was uninjured.

The collision occurred at Glen South, Naan, Kanturk at approximately 11.30am on the Kanturk/Banty to Cork Road and involved a car and a rigid truck. The 78-year-old female driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

A male cyclist in his 30's was fatally injured when he was involved in a collision with a car at about 11:15 on Sunday, 15 November. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Kerry General Hospital.
