Man Dies In Co Mayo Car Collision
A man has died in a single vehicle car crash in Co Mayo on Sunday.
The man, 19, was driving on the N84 at Carrowmore when his car struck a wall at approximately 10.30pm.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A male passenger in the car is currently being treated at Mayo General Hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The road has been closed for examinations to be carried out.
Garda are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Traffic Accidents
Two young men died over the weekend in separate road traffic incidents in Co Mayo and Co Wexford. In Co Wexford a 19-year-old man was killed after the car in which he was travelling hit a wall and entered the water in Courtown Harbour at about 10.30pm on Friday.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Flood Relief Budget 'Falls Short Of What's Needed' - FF
The budget of the flood relief scheme is €2 million short of what is needed, Fianna Fáil has said. TD for Mayo Dara Calleary said that new information released through Parliamentary Questions reveals that €5m has been allocated for road repairs and upgrades, despite Mayo County Council submitting a request to the Department of Transport of over €7.

Woman Dies After Mayo Mountain Fall
A woman who fell while climbing in the Mweelrea mountains in Co Mayo yesterday evening has died. Search teams in the Mweelrea Mountains in Co Mayo were called to the scene where the woman, who is in her 30s, fell on Ben Bury peak at around 6.30pm yesterday evening.
