Orange Weather Warning Issued Across Ireland
An Orange weather warning for rain has been issued for a number of counties across Ireland.
Met Éireann has issued the warning for counties, Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Tipperary.
The forecaster said that widespread, very heavy rain, with some thundery downpours will develop on Thursday night and persist through to Friday, leading to spot flooding and possibly accumulations of 35 to 50mm, but up to 70mm possibly on hilly ground and on mountains.
The warning, urging people to "be prepared", remains in place throughout Thursday and Friday.

Status Orange Weather Warnings Issued
A Status Orange weather warning has been issued for Thursday and Friday by forecaster, Met Éireann. The second most serious category of alert warns about heavy rainfall and possible flooding in counties Dublin, Louth, Meath, Monaghan, Wexford and Wicklow. The warning is in place from early Thursday through to Friday morning.

Met Éireann has renewed a Status Orange warning for heavy, and at times thundery rainfall, which could lead to flooding. The weather warning, which advises people to "be prepared", covers counties, Connacht, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Tipperary. The warning was issued at 05:00 on Friday and remains in place until 03:00 on Saturday morning.
