Latest Edition Of 'Working For Work' Booklet Launched
The 22nd edition of the Working for Work book has been launched by Minister of State Kevin Humphreys, which provides up to date information for jobseekers.
The book, published by the Irish National Organisation of the Unemployed (INOU), and provides information on Intreo Services and Supports to Jobseekers, including the Back to Work Family Dividend, JobsPlus, Momentum Skills Programme, Community Employment (CE), JobBridge, TÚS, Gateway, Back to Work supports, Enterprise Allowance and Short-term Enterprise Allowance.
It also outlines the rights and entitlements of individuals to social welfare payments, as well as providing valuable information and advice on the options and opportunities available to those seeking to re-enter employment or to pursue further education and training. It also contains advice on job searching, tax and other services provided by other Government Departments and agencies.
Speaking at the launch, Minister Humphreys said: "The INOU is an important partner in the promotion of equality of opportunity in society and works at local and national level on the issues affecting unemployed people. As a key funder, my Department has a particular interest in this annual publication.
"For over 20 years now, the INOU has been producing the 'Working for Work' book, which is the only one of its kind that brings together a wide range of information on supports available for unemployed people seeking to return to work, education or training".
