€750,000 Worth Of Drugs Seized In Dublin
Cocaine and cannabis worth an estimated €750,000 have been seized following the planned search of a property and vehicles in the Irishtown area of Dublin.
The searches were called as part of an ongoing operation into the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the South City of Dublin.
One man, in his late 40s, was arrested at scene and was detained at Pearse Street Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996. He was released on Sunday night without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

A garda operation targeting gangs involved in manufacturing drugs launched raids on Tuesday morning at 20 different address across the south east of Ireland. More than 60 officers were involved in the raids in counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary and Waterford. Garda said that six men were arrested in Kilkenny city in connection with the raid.

Methadone worth an estimated €3,000 has been seized along with a handgun from a house in the Abbotstown area of Finglas. A man in his 50s has been arrested in connection with the finds, which were made by garda from Finglas and members of Cabra drugs unit during a raid on Tuesday afternoon.
