Appeal Issued Over Serious Road Accident
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following a road traffic collision at Annesley Bridge Road, Dublin 3.
A woman in her 20s was hit by a car at Annesley Bridge Road shortly before 06:45am on Monday.
The woman remains in a serious condition in Beaumont Hospital.
The driver of the car involved in the incident was not injured.
The scene was examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road has been reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Clontarf Garda Station 01-6664800 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.

Gardaí Investigate Fairview Shooting
Gardaí have launched an investigation after a number of shots were fired at a supermarket in Fairview in Dublin. The shots were fired at the business on Annesley Bridge Road around 8:30pm on Sunday. It is understood that there were no injuries.

Four Men Dead In Separate Collisions
A total of four men have died in a spate of separate car collisions over the weekend. In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.

Gardaí in Mullingar have appealed for witnesses of a fatal road traffic accident on Thursday, 17 September. A man, aged in his 40s, was fatally injured when the truck he was driving left the road at approximately 12:30. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Mullingar Regional Hospital.
