Yellow Weather Warning Issued
Met Éireann has issued a yellow warning for heavy rainfall and strong winds in a number of counties across Ireland.
Heavy rain is expected throughout Monday in Munster and Leinster, with Dublin, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Meath, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford to be the most affected.
Southern and eastern coast will also experience strong wind throughout the day.
The forecaster added that during high tide, the wind may cause coastal overtopping.
The weather warning was issued at 00:00 on Monday and remains in place until 23:59.

Met Éireann Issue Yellow Warning For Wind And Rain
A yellow warning has been issued by Met Éireann for heavy rain and strong winds across most parts of Ireland from Friday evening until Sunday. The forecaster has predicted between 60 and 90mm of rain in coastal and mountainous areas. Temperatures will range between 15 to 18 degrees tomorrow, dropping to 13 to 15 degrees on Sunday.

These areas will experience strong and gusty south to southwest winds at times. Mean wind speeds will reach 55 to 75 km/hr with gusts of 85 to 100 km/hr.
