Appeal Issued For Witnesses To Serious M50 Crash
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision on the M50 Southbound on Wednesday morning.
The crash happened at about 05:30 yesterday morning close to Junction 7, Lucan, Dublin and involved a car and two trucks.
A 47-year-old woman, the driver and sole occupant of the car, was seriously injured. She was taken to Tallaght Hospital where her condition is described as critical. The two male truck drivers, aged 33 and 47 were uninjured.
The road was closed for a period of time to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Investigators but has since reopened.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, particularly those who were travelling on the M50 Southbound between Junctions 6, Blanchardstown and 9, Red Cow or who may have merged onto the M50 Southbound at the Junction 7, Lucan via the N4 Eastbound/Westbound between 5am and 5.45 yesterday morning, to contact them at Lucan Garda Station on 01 6667300, the Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.

Red Cow Roundabout Incident Closes Road
Motorists have been requested to avoid the Red Cow Roundabout in Dublin due to an incident involving a cement truck. Traffic from the Naas Road are unable to access the M50 southbound. Emergency work is ongoing to remove the trailer from the lorry, but motorists have been urged to avoid the area.

Garda Renew Appeal For Information On Fatal M50 Road Accident
Gardaí investigating a fatal road accident on the M50 earlier this month have renewed their appeal for witnesses. A man died and a woman remains in a critical condition after their car left the road and collided with a barrier on the south bound M50 between junction 10 and 11 on 14 March.

Road Accident Closes M50
A major road has been shut off following an accident this morning. A driver has been trapped in one of the vehicles involved in the traffic collision was southbound on the M50 at approximately 12.30pm between Junctions 5 and 6 (Finglas and Blanchardstown exits respectively). As a result, southbound traffic is completely blocked.

Three Arrested After Garda Intercept Stolen Car On M50
Garda have arrested three men when they intercepted a stolen car on the M50. Garda began a search when a car stolen from a residence in Drimnagh on 08 July was spotted in the early hours of this morning in the Leixlip area. Garda traced the car and attempted to make a stop but the vehicle fled the scene.

Garda Were Pursuing Car Involved In M50 Pile Up
It has been revealed that one of the cars involved in a three-car pile up on the M50 on Tuesday night was being pursued by garda. It is understood that garda were trailing the car from a distance before it turned into junction 15 of the M50 and drove north on the southbound road.
