Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Accident
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road accident involving a car and a cyclist on the N22 at Scart, Farranfore.
A male cyclist in his 30's was fatally injured when he was involved in a collision with a car at about 11:15 on Sunday, 15 November.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Kerry General Hospital. The driver and passenger of the car were not injured.
The road was closed for a time to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators but has since reopened.
Gardai wish to appeal for witnesses to contact Killarney Garda Station on 064-6671160, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a man in Dublin last week. The body of Kevin Molloy was found at his home in Glendhu Road in Cabra, Dublin, on Sunday 01 February. Investigating garda said they believed Mr Molloy's body had laid undiscovered for some time.

A 58-year-old male was seriously injured when his car crashed into a ditch at Kilmullen Lane. Paramedics treated the man at the scene, however, he was pronounced a short time later.
