Fatal Road Accident On M50
Garda have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident on the M50 on Wednesday afternoon.
It is understood that a man was struck by a lorry on the M50 at about 14:10 on Wednesday, 18 November. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Blanchardstown Hospital.
The road was closed for number of hours on Wednesday while a forensic investigation of the scene was carried. All lanes have since been reopened.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact garda.

A man in his 50s was seriously injured when his motorcycle hit a wall on the R448, near Waterford City, at about 17:15. He was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Waterford where he was pronounced dead.

A woman has reportedly been arrested following the seizure of drugs worth more than €100,000 in Limerick. The woman, who is understood to be in her 20s, was arrested following the seizure of heroin and cocaine in the south side of the city on Wednesday afternoon. She is being held at Roxboro Road Garda Station.
