Two Arrested Following Heroin Seizure In Limerick

Two men have been arrested in connection with a heroin seizure in Limerick.

Gardaí from Henry Street recovered heroin worth an estimated €50,000 during a search of a house at St Mary's Park on Tuesday 15 December.

The search was part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in the Limerick area.

Two men, aged 43 and 40, were arrested and are being detained at Henry Street Garda station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.

Two Arrested After Street Search Uncovers Heroin
Two men were arrested following a stop and search in Dublin city centre that uncovered heroin worth an estimated €20,000. Gardaí stopped the men on Store Street and uncovered the drugs. Gardaí said the arrests are part of an ongoing intelligence led operation targeting the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the north inner city.

Suspect Released Following Drugs Raid
Heroin, cannabis and amphetamine worth an estimated €40,000 has been seized by gardaí during a search of a house in Thurles. Two arrests were made during the search, a woman in her 20s, who has since been released, and a man in his 30s, who remains in custody.

A Dutch mother of three has been jailed for the possession of firearms. The woman, Caroline Van Dongeren, 32, was given a three-year sentence after a search at her home uncovered two magazines each containing 10 rounds of ammunition.

Man Arrested Over €1.4m Heroin Seizure
A man has been arrested after heroin, worth a street value of approximately €1.4 million, was seized in Dublin. The drugs were discovered by gardai during a planned search of premises on Wednesday, 01 June. Cannabis, worth an estimated street value of €10,000, was also seized. The suspect is being detained at Kevin Street Garda Station.

Man Arrested After Heroin Seized During Vehicle Search
A man has been arrested after heroin was discovered during a vehicle search in Co Dublin. It is understood the drugs, worth an estimated value of €420,000, were seized by Garda at 4.30 during a search in Clondalkin yesterday, 10 December. The 35-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene and taken to Lucan Garda station. Enquiries are continuing.
