TD for Clare and Chairman of the Oireachtas Foreign Affairs Committee, Pat Breen, said the announcement was "very good news" for the region.

"Clare based healthcare recruitment company TTM has announced the creation of 500 new jobs over the next five years. This is extremely good news for the people of Co. Clare," Deputy Breen said.

"TTM recruit specialist healthcare professionals in both Ireland and the UK and it is understood that the majority of the 500 new roles will be based in the firm's headquarters in Ennis.

"TTM's announcement brings vital jobs to the Clare region and I am hopeful that more jobs can be created in this area in the coming years.
