Witnesses Sought To Fatal Road Accident In Galway
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident at Baile Liam, Galway, on Wednesday night.
A man in his 20s was seriously injured when the car he was travelling in collided with a wall on the R336 at Baile Liam, An Spidéal, just before midnight.
The man was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Galway, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Gardaí at Salthill 091-514720 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.

Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Missing Galway Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Gardaí in Galway have reported that John Moyles has been found "safe and well". The 23-year-old, from the Rahoon area of Galway, was reported missing on Sunday. It is understood that he was found in the Dublin area. Garda have thanked the public for their help.

Gardaí in Co Galway have reported the death of a woman in her 70s following a car accident in Castlegar. It is understood that the woman was involved in a two-car collision at about midday on Thursday at Two Mile Ditch on Tuam Road.

Body Confirmed As Missing Galway Man
Gardaí have confirmed they have found the body of missing Galway man Adrian Folan. Mr Folan had been missing since last Thursday, when he was last seen in Athlone. Gardaí say that a body found in a disused quarry near the village of Liscannor in north Clare is that of Mr Folan, and that the death is being treated as suspicious.
