Taoiseach In London For Meeting With David Cameron

Taoiseach Enda Kenny is in London to meet UK Prime Minister David Cameron.

The two leaders are due to meet at Downing Street where they will discuss upcoming EU/UK negotiations, the Ireland/UK Joint Work Programme and the latest development in the Northern Ireland political situation.

Prior to the Bilateral meeting, the Taoiseach will address Irish and British business leaders at an event organised by the British Irish Chamber of Commerce and the Irish International Business Network.

Taoiseach Begins Visit To Italy
Taoiseach Enda Kenny has arrived in Italy for a two-day official visit, during which he is due to meet with Italian prime minister, Matteo Renzi. Mr Kenny arrived today (Thursday) and is due to meet Renzi in Rome tomorrow. The two are expected to discuss relations between Ireland and Italy, and reinforcing cooperation in a range of areas.

Call For Taoiseach To Maintain Deal On CAP Vital For Irish Farming
Fianna Fáil Agriculture Spokesperson, Éamon Ó Cuív TD, has called on the Taoiseach to defend Ireland's interests and maintain the country's existing funding under CAP, which is currently being negotiated. Deputy Ó Cuív was speaking before today's crucial meeting in Brussels, where a budget for CAP may be decided upon.
