Benzodiazepine Tablets Worth €21,000 Seized In Limerick
A total of 10,500 Benzodiazepine tablets, worth an estimated street value of €21,000, have been seized in Limerick.
The seizure was part of an intelligence-led joint operation by Revenue, An Garda Síochána and the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA).
The discovery was made in Kilkeely on Monday.
The tablets had been sent from Austria.
A man was arrested under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

A quantity of ecstasy tablets worth an estimated €140,000 have been seized during a search operation in Co Cork. Garda from Fermoy, in conjunction with Revenue Officers, discovered approximately 10,000 ecstasy tablets during the planned search of a house at Captain Keanes Groves in Mitchelstown on Thursday, 14 July.

Court Date Follows Arms and Drugs Find
A man is to appear in court on handgun and drug charges following searches on a house in Dublin. The 36-year-old man and is to appear before Dublin District Court this morning. He was arrested Wednesday in connection with the discovery of three handguns and over 1,000 tablets believed to Ecstasy at Dolphin's Barn in the Capital.

A man has been arrested after Gardaí seized drugs worth an estimated €110,000 in County Sligo. During a search of a house in Calry on Tuesday, 09 April, a 4kg bag of cannabis, over 4,000 Xanax tablets and cocaine were discovered. The 30-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene and taken to Carrick-on-Shannon station.

Gardaí in County Kerry have seized drugs worth an estimated €540,000. The discovery was made in the Lee Drive area of Tralee. Around 10 kilos of suspected methadone was seized along with eight thousand ecstacy tablets. A 28-year-old woman was arrested but was later released.
