DataSolutions To Create 20 New Jobs
DataSolutions is to create 20 new jobs over the next three years.
The firm is investing £3.8 million and plans to expand into the UK with a new office in Theale, Reading.
The Irish IT solutions distributor also plans to triple its business over the next three years to £60m on the back of this investment.
To lead the UK expansion, the IT solutions distributor has appointed Sean Fane as UK managing director for the company.
Sean Fane, UK Managing Director, DataSolutions, said: "I'm very excited to join the team at DataSolutions and head up the UK business. We will bring the engagement philosophy of partnership and the strong value proposition from our long-established Irish parent company to the UK reseller community.
"Our core value is passion for partner growth, and we are dedicated to creating profitable, incremental sales for our resellers through pro-active teamwork and 'hands-on' business development activities, training and support. Our 'back-office' team has a depth of sales and marketing skills and experience, and has a track-record of achieving results for emerging technology companies. Bausch + Lomb Create 125 New Jobs
Bausch + Lomb has announced the opening of a new €85 million extension at the their Waterford facility, with the creation of 125 new jobs. Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, the parent company of Bausch + Lomb, has invested more than €200 million in the Waterford facility's operations, infrastructure and manufacturing line growth.
