Major Delays On M1 Following Collision
Motorists are facing severe delays on the M1 southbound following a collision involving two HGVs.
The Dublin Fire Brigade is currently at the scene.
No one has been seriously injured, however the size of the trucks is the cause of the road closure, according to Gardai.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and to seek an alternative route.

A man has died following a road collision in Galway. The incident happened at Glenascaul in Oranmore around 1:30pm on Thursday. It is understood that the car the man was travelling in collided with a tractor.

Two Dead In Separate Collisions
Two people have died on Ireland's roads after traffic collisions in Dublin and Kilkenny in the last two days. In the latest incident, a male aged 19 was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a stationary vehicle. His body was taken to Tallaght Hospital.

Four Killed On Irish Roads This Weekend
A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. The collision occurred at the junction of Slab Road, Burt, on the Main Letterkenny to Derry Road at approximately 10.

Man Dead After Co Clare Crash
A man has died following a crash in County Clare this morning. The 23-year-old was taken to Ennis General Hospital after the one-vehicle crash in Lahinch at 1.30am. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Two women and one man, all in their 20s, were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries. They were passengers in the car.

A man in his 50s was seriously injured when his motorcycle hit a wall on the R448, near Waterford City, at about 17:15. He was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Waterford where he was pronounced dead.
