New Jobs Announced By Irish-Owned IT Specialist
Fifty new jobs are to be created in Cork by Irish-owned IT project specialist, Aspira.
The new 'high-level' jobs were announced at the official opening of the company's new Cork headquarters, where the majority of the jobs will be based. The rest will be at Aspira's Dublin office.
Officially opening the firms new state-of-the-art headquarters in Little Island, Cork Taoiseach Enda Kenny said: "This announcement of 50 new jobs is very welcome news for Cork. The Government wants to keep the recovery going by ensuring strong job creation in every region of the country. These pro-business policies need to be maintained in order to continue to allow companies like Aspira to grow and create jobs."
Aspira CEO, Pat Lucey added: "The new roles we are announcing today will strengthen our delivery capability and our management team at a time when we are bolstering our service offerings, and preparing for expansion to international markets. We forecast overall sales to more than double over the next three years, with international sales growing faster again."
