Friday Could Be 'The People's Rising' - SF
Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams has said that Friday's General Election could be "the people's rising".
Speaking at his party's final press conference on Tuesday, Mr Adam's said: "There is no difference between Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and Labour. Last night we got a stark reminder of the naked cronyism of these parties.
"Last night during the final leaders debate, we got a stark reminder of the golden circle, Galway Tent politics of Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil, who have been appointing their cronies and friends to positions of influence in the State for decades.
"Enda Kenny finally admitted to appointing his party's former Seanad nominee John McNulty to the Irish Museum of Modern Art. Despite promising a democratic revolution, he has kept Fianna Fáil's legacy of cronyism and political patronage alive and well.
"There are two Irelands out there - one for the privileged and one for the rest of us.
"As we enter the final days of the campaign it is clear that there is no difference between Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and Labour.
"On Friday I'm asking citizens to seize this opportunity, to elect a new progressive government led by Sinn Féin under the Right2Change Principles."
