Death Of Baby In Kerry 'Suspicious' – Gardaí
Gardaí are treating the death of a baby boy at an apartment in Co Kerry as suspicious.
It is understood the 11-month-old baby was found at the property by his mother who had returned home after being at work. A man in his 30s who was looking after the baby is currently being treated for injuries at University Hospital Kerry. His condition has been described as serious.
Emergency services attended the scene in Killarney shortly after 6pm on Sunday, 06 March, but the baby was pronounced dead a short time later.
The scene remains sealed off.

Man Injured In Kerry Stabbing
A man has been injured in a stabbing in Co Kerry. It is understood that the 35-year-old was stabbed during an incident in An Daingean. He was taken to Kerry General Hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not believed to be serious. Gardaí are investigating the incident.

Climber Rescued From Kerry Mountain
A man has been rescued from a ledge on the Connor Pass, north of Dingle in County Kerry. The climber got trapped on the ledge near Pedlars Lake at around 6.00pm on Wednesday evening and a rescue operation was immediately launched. The Dingle Cliff and Coastguard Rescue Team made contact with the man shortly before 9.30pm.
