Woman Killed In Fatal Car Crash In Co Limerick

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a fatal car crash in Co Limerick.

The incident happened around 11:30pm at the Applegreen service station at Coolanoran, Rathkeale on 05 March.

The driver of the car, a woman in her late 30s, was fatally injured in the single-car crash.

Her body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem examination will take place.

Three other passengers, a man in his mid 40s and two children, were also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation is underway and any witnesses are asked to contact Gardai.

A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. It is understood the man died after his car collided with a truck at Cooga Cross on the Doon to Cappamore Road at about 15:30. A post-mortem is due to be carried out today at Limerick Regional Hospital.

Two gardaí officers have received hospital treatment after their patrol car was involved in a collision. The patrol car collided with a car at around 11:00 on Thursday in Kilmallock in Co Limerick, according to a report by the Irish Independent.

Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash
A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Investigation Launched Following Bone Discovery In Co Clare
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a bone in Co Clare. A bone was found on Thursday, 22 September, on the Shannon riverbank at Doonass, Clonlara, on the Clare-Limerick border. Gardaí were called to the scene and are understood to have examined and photographed the scene before the bone was removed.
