Tyco To Open New Headquarters In Cork

IDA Ireland has welcomed the announcement that Tyco is to open its new headquarters on Albert Quay in Cork.

Martin Shanahan, CEO at IDA Ireland said: "In January 2014, we worked with Tyco on their plans for a global services centre housing 500 people in Cork."

"Tyco's new office building on Albert Quay, in heart of Cork's city centre, is one of the best equipped office spaces anywhere in Ireland."

"Today's opening, with 400 guests present, gives us a sense of the wider impact that Tyco's investment is having on the city of Cork. It's important to remember that for every ten jobs created in an IDA client company in Ireland, there are seven jobs created in the wider economy."

"There are some fantastic office spaces under construction throughout the state at the moment – these will assist IDA in winning more investments over the coming months and years.

"IDA's pipeline remains strong with more announcements planned in the coming weeks."
