18-Year-Old Cyclist Killed In Road Accident In Co Cork
Gardaí in Co Cork have appealed for witnesses following the death of an 18-year-old male cyclist.
The male teenager was seriously injured when he collided with a car at Barley Hill on the Clonakilty to Skibbereen Road at about 19:00 on Tuesday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Cork University Hospital.
The driver of the car, a man in his late 60s, was uninjured.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Clonakilty Garda station on 023 8821570, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Missing Cork Girl Believed To Be In Belfast
The PSNI is working with Gardai after a girl who went missing from Cork is believed to have travelled to Belfast. Leigh Arundel, 15, may be with an older male according to the police. Leigh went missing from her home on 05 September. She has a tattoo with the name 'Jimmy' on her left hand.

Man Arrested Over The Murder Of Mikolaj Wilk
A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Mikolaj Wilk in County Cork last June. The suspect, aged in his 30s, has been detained at Togher Garda Station. 35-year-old Mr Wilk, who was originally from Poland, died when he was attacked by a gang at his home in Ballingcollig.

Gardaí have renewed an appeal for help in identifying the remains of a man found at a recycling plant in Dublin in July. The human remains were found on 31 July at Thornton's Recycling Plant on Killeen Road, Ballyfermot. Gardaí say that they believe it to be a European male, aged between 25 and 45 and approximately 5'8" to 6' tall.
