Two Arrested In Vincent Ryan Murder Investigation

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Vincent Ryan in Finglas on 29 February.

Gardaí investigating the murder searched a number of premises in the north and west Dublin areas.

During the course of the searches two men in their 30's were arrested. One man has been detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at Finglas Garda Station and the second man has been detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act, 1939 at Blanchardstown Garda Station.

Man Arrested Over Cocaine And Ammunition Find
Gardaí in Co Louth have seized a quantity of cocaine and 9mm ammunition following the search of a car. Cocaine worth an estimated €50,000, and a small quantity of ammunition, was uncovered when garda searched the car at about 18:00 in Drogheda on Monday. Officers arrested a man in his 40s in connection with the find.

Man Arrested Following Cannabis Find
A man has been arrested following the discovery of cannabis plants in the Kilclare area of Carrick-on Shannon. The plants, valued at €240,000, were recovered after a house was searched yesterday afternoon. The 44-year-old man is currently being detained at Manorhamilton garda station.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dunne Murder
A man in his 20's has been arrested in connection with the killing of Eamon Dunne on 23rd April, 2010. Mr Dunne was shot outside the Fassaugh House pub in Cabra, Dublin. The man is being detained at Mountjoy garda station under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.

Investigation Launched After Pharmacy Worker Stabbed
An investigation has been launched in Drogheda after a Pharmacy employee was stabbed. Gardaí were called to Scarlet Street shortly before 08:30 on Tuesday morning to reports that an employee had been stabbed. The victim, a man aged in his 30s, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, where his condition is described as serious.

Man Arrested Following Robbery In Greenhills
A man in his early 20s has been arrested following a robbery of an off licence shop on St. James Road, Greenhills, on Wednesday night. At approximately 9.30pm a male entered the premises and demanded cash. He was armed with what was described as a hammer. He left the scene with an amount of cash. No one was injured in the incident.
