'Male Juvenile' Charged With Fatal Assault In Co Mayo

Gardaí have charged a "male juvenile" in connection with a fatal assault in Co Mayo.

The juvenile is due to appear before Castlebar District Court charged in connection with the incident at Claremount Manor, Knock Road, Claremorris, on Saturday, 19 December.

A male juvenile suffered fatal injuries during the incident and was pronounced dead at scene.

Garda made the arrest on this morning, 01 April and is currently in Garda custody at Claremorris Garda Station.

Elderly Man Arrested After Fatal Shooting In Mayo
An elderly man has been arrested after a man in his 60s was shot dead in County Mayo. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene in Aghamore, Ballyhaunis shortly before midnight on Tuesday, 17 September. It is understood the elderly man heard noises outside his property before the shots were fired.

Appeal Issued For Missing Juvenile Aman Brid Singh Chopra
Gardaí have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of missing juvenile Aman Brid Singh Chopra. Aman was last seen in the Kilkishen area, Co. Clare on Thursday, 14th November 2019. Aman is of Afghan nationality and is described as being 5' 8" in height, of thin build with brown eyes and black hair.

Gang Threatened Boy To Hide Magnum Hand Gun
A schoolboy was warned that "his head would be blown off" if he did not hide a loaded Magnum handgun for a criminal gang. The boy, who was 15 at the time of the incident, was charged with possession of the weapon and three rounds of ammunition. Limerick Juvenile Court cleared the now 17 year-old boy of the charges.
