Motorcyclist Killed In Co Tipperary Road Accident
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road accident in Co Tipperary.
A 25-year-old male motorcyclist was fatally injured when he collided with a sign on the R689 at Fennor, Urlingford at about 20:45 on Thursday night.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Kilkenny Hospital.
This stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
Anyone with any information about the crash is asked to contact Thurles Garda Station on 0504 25100, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

A man in his early 20s was fatally injured when the jeep he was driving left the road at about 02:30 on Sunday, 18 October. The man was the sole occupant of the vehicle. A post-mortem is due to take place at Tullamore Regional Hospital.
