Steroids Seized In Dublin's South Inner City
Revenue officers have seized approximately 26,000 steroid tablets and around 4,000 steroid ampoules during a search operation in Dublin's south inner city.
The steroids were recovered during a multi-agency operation involving the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, the Divisional Drugs Unit in Kevin Street, and officers from the Health Products Regulatory Authority.
The steroids originated in Romania and have a street value of approximately €30,000.
Two Irish males in their 30s and 40s were arrested at the scene. Both men were detained at Kevin St. Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and were later released. A File is being prepared for the DPP.

Fire At Dublin Church 'Suspicious'
A fire at St Catherine’s Church in Meath Street in Dublin has been called "suspicious" by Gardaí. Officers investigating the circumstances of the fire, which occurred on January 2 said they arrested a man in his 50s in connection with the incident. He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Kevin St Garda Station.

Arrests Follow Dublin Drugs And Arms Seizure
A man and a woman have been arrested after a search in Dublin recovered a quantity of drugs and a loaded weapon. The planned operation, carried out by Gardaí in Finglas, culminated in a search of a house in the Casement area of West Finglas in Dublin at approximately 1pm on Thursday.

Officers Seize €20,000 At Knock Airport
Revenue officers seized €20,000 in cash from a couple who landed in Knock airport having returned from Lanzarote. The can was concealed in items of clothing and carry-on luggage. The cash was seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act and investigations are continuing.
