Pensioner Killed In Dublin Collision
A pensioner has died after she was hit by a car on the N11 in Dublin.
The incident happened on the southbound carriageway just before 1pm on Wednesday, 04 May.
The woman, believed to be in her 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body has been taken to Saint Columcille's Hospital and a post-mortem is to be carried out.
Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

The pedestrian, 24, was taken to Saint Vincent's Hospital where she remains in a critical condition. Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

A man has died following a paragliding accident in County Wicklow. His body was discovered on Sunday 12 April after a search was launched when he failed to return to his north Dublin home. Wicklow Mountain Rescue conducted the search along with the Irish Coast Guard Rescue.

A pensioner has died in a road collision in Cahir, Co Tipperary. The man, who was in his 80s, died after his car was in a crash with a truck on the M8 southbound at approximately 2am this morning. The driver of the truck was not injured in the accident. A post-mortem examination will take place on the body in South Tipperary General Hospital.
