Man Questioned Over Fatal Road Crash In Co Mayo
Garda have detained a man in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Mayo on Sunday, 08 May.
A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a van on the N26 at Ballinahaglush at around 3.45pm.
A man was arrested and is being detained at Ballina Garda Station.

Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

An appeal for information has been issued for a missing 76-year-old man in Co Mayo. John Kerrigan has been missing from his apartment on Main Street, Ballinrobe since 20 May. He is described as 1.83m (6’0) tall, of medium build, with grey hair.

Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 24-year-old man has been found "safe and well". Alex Sherwin had been reported missing on Sunday, with garda issuing a public appeal for assistance. No information on Mr Sherwin's whereabouts have been released, but garda said the investigation had now ended. They thanked the public for their help.

Teenager Dies In Co Mayo Road Crash
Garda in Co Mayo have reported the death of an 18-year-old man in a single vehicle collision at Tarmon, Blacksod. Garda say that the man died when his car left the road and struck a wall. The accident happened at around 17:40 on Wednesday. A second man in the car was airlifted to Mayo General Hospital.
