Funeral To Be Held For Baby Girl Found In Recycling Plant

A funeral is to be held on Friday, 13 May, for a baby girl whose body was found at a recycling plant last week.

The baby girl's remains were discovered by a worker at the Greenstar facility in Fassaroe, Bray, Co Wicklow.

Baby Alannah, as she was named by gardaí, will be buried at Redford Cemetery, in Greystones, according to a report by RTÉ.

Gardaí have also renewed their appeal for the baby's family to come forward.

It is understood as the recycling plant accepts waste from across Ireland it has been difficult for garda to establish where the baby girl may have come from.
