Man Dies Following Fatal Traffic Collision In Co Kerry
A man has been killed following a fatal traffic collision in Co Kerry.
Emergency services were called at around 8:35am after the pedestrian was hit by a car on the (R551) Tralee to Ardfert road at Ballyroe.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been removed to Tralee General Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
The driver of the car, a 20-year-old male, was not injured in the incident.
A forensic examination of the scene has been carried out and Gardai are appealing for witnesses.

Man's Body Found In Westmeath
The body of a man, believed to be in his 20s, has been found in a camper van in Collinstown, County Westmeath. The man’s body was discovered in the vehicle at around 4.00am on Thursday morning at Lough Lene in the village. A man in his late 20s is in custody at Mullingar Garda Station and is being questioned in connection with the incident.

Woman's Body Found In County Laoise
Gardai are continuing with their investigations after the discovery of a woman's body in County Laoise. The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was found at a flat in Mountrath. The alarm was raised shortly after 8pm on Friday. A man in his 30s has been arrested in relation to the incident and is detained at Portlaoise Garda Station.

Gardaí have issued appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on the N4 in Lucan. A 32-year-old man was seriously injured when the car he was driving left the carriageway and struck a wall shortly before 1pm on the city bound approach to junction 4A. The man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

A 22-month-old boy has died at Temple Street Children's Hospital today after a traffic collision in Moate, County Westmeath on Saturday. The child was struck by a car in the Coillin Buí estate in the town at about 1.45pm and taken to Mullingar General Hospital. He was later transferred to Temple Street.
