Met Eireann Issues Orange Weather Warning
Met Eireann has issued an orange weather warning for heavy rainfall this afternoon, 06 June.
Thundery conditions are expected in some parts of Ireland and flooding may occur.
The showers are expected to continue to break out through the rest of the day, most like across Leinster and the Northwest.
The warning will remain in place until 1am on Tuesday, 07 June.

Met Eireann Issue Severe Weather Warning
As heavy rain and strong winds continue to batter Ireland a severe weather warning has been issued for at least the next 24 hours. Met Éireann has released the warning and are advising motorists to exercise extreme care on the roads where spot flooding and debris are making driving conditions dangerous.

Weather Warning Issued By MET
The Irish meteorological agency have issued a weather warning for today, with gusts reaching up to 140km/hr threatening some areas of the state. Met Eireann said the ferocity of some the westerly winds could lead to structural damage, with winds expected to reach their highest speeds in exposed areas such as Connacht and Ulster.

Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange weather warning for the region. The wind warning was issued on Sunday night (8 March) and is expected to remain in place until at least midnight on Monday. The warning if for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo. The forecaster said: "Southerly winds of mean speed 60-65km/h.
