Man Due In Court Over 2012 Double Murder In Dundalk
A 34-year-old man is due to appear before Dundalk District Court this morning charged in connection with a double murder in March 2012.
The suspected was arrested when he was returned to Ireland following his extradition from Spain in April this year.
He is charged in connection with the murder of Anthony Burnett and Joseph Redmond; their bodies were found in a burnt-out car at Ravensdale Park in Dundalk, on 07 March, 2012.
The two men had been shot before the car was set on fire.

A man has been arrested in connection with the 2013 murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe. Mr Donohoe, a father-of-two, was shot dead outside Lordship Credit Union in Dundalk, Co Louth on 25th January, 2013. Garda detained a man outside Wheatfield Prison.

Man Arrested Over Dundalk Murder
Gardaí in Dundalk have arrested a man in connection with the murder of Martin Mulligan. Mr Mulligan's body was discovered in the Kilcurry area of Dundalk in the early hours of 28 September, 2015. Garda arrested a 22-year-old man on Monday, 23 May, in connection with the murder.

Mr McMahon, 41, from Green Acres, Dundalk, was shot dead in a property at Bothar Croinin, Dundalk on March 21 last year. The 39-year-old is being held at Dundalk Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act.
