Cocaine And Cannabis Seized In Co Kildare

Cocaine and cannabis herb worth an estimated €34,000 has been seized in Moone, Co Kildare.

As part of a planned search of a premises at Lower Belan, garda uncovered €14,000 worth of cocaine and €20,000 worth of cannabis, shortly before midnight on Sunday, 12 June.

The search was carried out by Athy Gardaí, assisted by the Kildare District Drugs Unit and Athy Traffic Corps.

A 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody at Kildare Garda Station.

Cannabis Seized In Co Kildare
Gardaí in Co Kildare have seized cannabis worth an estimated €800,000. The find was made during a planned search of a house in Crossmorris on Monday. Officers seized 40kg of cannabis herb in the search. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the find.

Cannabis Worth €2m Seized And Three Arrested
Cannabis with an estimated value of almost €2m has been seized in counties Kildare and Dublin on Thursday afternoon. Some €600,000 worth of the drugs were recovered when a van and a car were stopped by members of the Garda National Drugs Unit along with officers from the Organised Crime Unit at Castlewarden, Co Kildare.

Drugs Seized In Galway City
Quantities of cocaine, ecstasy tablets, MDMA powder and herbal cannabis worth an estimated €35,000 have been seized in Galway City. The drugs were seized in a joint operation with the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, at a house last Thursday.

Men Arrested Over Santry Cannabis Seizure
Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.
